Reinforced hypalon sheeting is custom manufactured in the UK by White Cross Rubber Products Ltd. Hypalon rubber or Chlorosulpanated polyethelene (CSM) is a commonly used sythetic organic elastomer suitable for a range of applications.
Hypalon material’s outstanding property is it’s suitability for bright colour pigmentation, maintaining colour stability in extended exposure to the environment (see rubber properties table). For this reason hypalon is often used for rigid inflatable boat (RIB) material.
